My DD had the two wisdom teeth out on the bottoms. She didn't have any on top. Well, she was put under general anesthesia, got them out, and we went home. She slept for four hours, woke up, had her pain meds and antibiotics, a scoop of chocolate ice cream, and THREE MUGS OF BEAN SOUP.
Holy goodness.
She said she felt much better after eating the soup, since she had not had anything since 10 pm last night. She must have a high pain tolerance, she only cried once when she first woke up. She's at the dining room table playing a card game with her sister.
I am feeling relieved.
Glad things went well. If you don't already know: bags of frozen peas are awesome when recovering from wisdom teeth surgery. First day is worst, pain wise, then most of the swelling usually happens day 2 or 3, if at all. Everyone is different.
ReplyDeleteShe has some bruising noted in the one side of her face. She slept all night, with pain meds every four hours. We have ibuprofen for any breakthrough pain. She is a trooper, I hope she pulls through without too many difficulties. Her face is swollen this morning.
