I went to Aldi last night after I paid the bills to get some groceries. We were running low on various items and needed to get June groceries stocked up.
Scoop cat litter
2 cans crushed tomatoes
4 lb sugar
2 24 count bottled water
2 lb carrots
1 pint blackberries
1 quart strawberries
2 lb grapes
1 large cucumber
1 package of hot dog buns
1 20 count tortillas
2 lb dry pinto beans
2 lb great northern beans
2 loaves of white bread for the kids
2 4 ct Willow toilet paper
2 lb celery
2 lb carrots
2 cans diced tomatoes
2 lb broccoli cuts
3 boxes of cereal
80 count trash bags
one jug juice
3 lunchables for the kids.
100 count tea bags
3 lb of 85% ground beef (expensive 2.99 lb)
two 5 lb whole chickens (0.95 lb)
3 lb margarine
2 dozen eggs (1.89 each)
yellow mustard
1 jar spaghetti sauce
frozen burritos
thousand island dressing
buttermilk ranch dressing
3 lb ground turkey (1.69 lb)
2 cans chicken noodle soup for the kids
2 cans of mushroom pieces
4 cans of tomato sauce
scrub sponges
40 oz peanut butter
chocolate sryup
2 gallons of skim milk
2 lb bologna
2 lb motzerella cheese
1 lb turkey bacon
popcorn
1 lb cheese slices
I spent 129.32 out of 300.00 dollars for June. This is going to supplement what we have all ready in the freezer/pantry/fridge.
Sounds like you will be stocked up for a while :)
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping so. All that is left of the fruit is a few handfuls of grapes. The berries are long gone!! We are working on using the stuff we have in the pantry, along with more fresh produce. I can only buy so much though, because if it doesn't get eaten, then I end up putting the produce in the compost. Doesn't save me any money in the long run. I work hard to feed my family healthy balanced meals most of the time.
