Turkey

So, we all had some turkey last night. I used the veggie peelings and the neck to simmer in the crock pot for broth. I got seven cups for the freezer. I ended up putting the frame, skin, wings in the crock pot with some water and let it simmer over night. We have another 3 quarts of beautiful golden brown stock for the freezer!! It will help to have this when money's tight and makes use of all parts of the bird. I'm thankful. Not to mention, that we have a HUGE 13X9 pan full of white and dark meat in the fridge for this weekend meals.
