The package of chicken thighs had seven pieces in it. I put all seven in the crock pot. My kids, husband, and I had dinner. I took the left over chicken off the bones, diced it up, and mixed the Arby's packets of BBQ sauce in it. This "BBQ" chicken will be put to good use. We will use it as sandwich filling.
I still have a cup of diced carrots that will be eaten tomorrow. We have two containers of stock, holding about two cups each. This will be put into the freezer, dated, labeled, and put aside for future meals.
It prevents waste, adds to our daily meal plans, and gets rid lurking items.
