Frugal happenings....

• doing laundry in cold water and hanging it up to dry.
• cutting the grass and leaving it a little higher (better for the environment and grass)
• using up all the hidden surprises and leftovers.
• a spatula is a girl's best friend.
• sold the soda cans pack to the metal shop (10 lbs at 69 cents a lb bought more soda).
• put all the coke reward codes in the computer, earned a free 12 pack, requested coupon.
• kids did their chores.
• didn't spend any money from the checking account in 5 days.
• cut some of my plants and placed in water. Hoping to root them and put in older pots I have on the porch. 
• took recycling to the recycling center, took two bags of household trash to the landfill.
• picked free fruit from my yard and made cobbler yesterday for the five of us.
• My oldest DD asked for ice cream. We didn't have any, didn't spend any cash on it.
• Played a board game last night.
