October 2nd dinner

Well, that ham I made yesterday gave us a plate of nice slices for sandwiches, and a cup of stock for soup. I took the bone with plenty of meat on it and placed it in the crock pot. I had four thin carrots that I peeled and sliced. I had a half an onion that I chopped, and found a half bag of "slivered carrot" that I put into the crock pot. I opened 3 pounds of pinto beans (canned) and added this to the crock pot. It will make some pretty awesome bean soup later today. We have some left over salad that can be used up today also.

The kids have a half day of school, and I work tonight. This is an easy dinner for the five of us.
