Dinner 1/18

I had to buy a new crock pot yesterday, as I broke our previous one a few weeks ago. So, this morning, I put it to good use.

We are having a small roast that was bought on mark down. In the crock pot, I diced up three carrots, two sprigs of celery, half an onion, a few fresh green beans that were sliced by hand, two garlic cloves, some basil, and bouillon cubes. I added about one and a half cups of water, and a teaspoon of packet soy sauce. I'm going to let this cook all day on low, and make some long grain rice to go with it.
