My kid...

fell at school, tripped over her shoe laces, and BROKE HER GLASSES.

I have insurance and they helped pay for 60 percent of her new glasses last year, since she had a new prescription.

I just want to cry.

    I am so sorry. I bet she feels bad, poor thing. Just remember she didn't do it on purpose.

      She told me it was an accident. I went to the place we bought them from, and they were able to fix them at NO COST to me. I'm thankful. I was so upset and overwhelmed with this whole day. It's almost time for me to go to bed. My DD told me that she was sorry that she "tripped over my shoelaces mom". I felt like a heel.

    So happy that you were able to get them replaced. We get frustrated with our kids (and by we, I mean me ;-)) for things that are just regular accidents.

      Lenscrafters were able to realign them and put the lens back in. No charge.
