March 4 dinner

My daughter made chicken thighs the other day and we still had four in the fridge that needed to be used. I found this recipe on face book being passed around. I figured we should try it.

I put all the carrots we had in the fridge in the crock pot (they were tiny and small), I have no onions, and only had one take out packet of soy sauce...we will have some brown rice, a small salad, and maybe some other veggie to go with it.

  1. that sounds yummy. My dh won't eat chicken with bones in though; although he can't remember it I think he had a bad experience with chicken and a bone when he was a child.

    1. It was really good. My kids and husband ate it. My DH didn't like the carrots. He usually eats them without complaint. I guess it has to be form the "sauce". The recipe called for boneless, skinless chicken thighs, but I only had regular chicken thighs available, due to price.

  2. The recipe sounds really good....I usually get chicken thighs without the bone in them. This is something I will have to try...I just cook for my husband and myself and he eats whatever I cook and tells me it's good!! :)
